It is also possible to download the Handbook of Aeronautical Information. This is the book provided by the FAA that cover all of the information necessary to pass your written exam. The Airplane Flying Handbook is the book that we will use as our syllabus as we fly. The Instrument Flying Handbook and Instrument Procedures Handbook can also be downloaded from the FAA's website.
